PERNILLE PANG
Pernille studied Journalism from Roskilde University/Danish daily Politiken and East Asian Studies from the University of Copenhagen. For ten years, she worked as a journalist at Copenhagen daily newspapers and as a freelance writer, before she joined the Danish beer company Mikkeller as Head of PR and later as Brand and Art Director.
Pernille has maintained a thread in Mikkeller's overall communication and visual identity throughout the years in which the company developed from successful start-up to partnership with Carlsberg. Andersen’s House, Henrik Vibskov, byNWR, Holmegaard and the Danish Refugee Council.
In addition to a great passion for storytelling and design, Pernille has been making music for many years, and is a curious music and food enthusiast with a deep love for dream pop, indie rock, dim sum, sashimi and anchovies. Her fondness of the Copenhagen restaurant scene is rooted in the many Friday afternoons she spent as a child eating spring rolls, frog legs and tricolore ice cream in the kitchen of the Chinese restaurant where her father worked.
LAURA TERP
A Graphic Designer from the Royal Academy of Copenhagen and University of the Arts London. Laura has many years of experience as Art Director from a wide range of magazines within the fashion and lifestyle industry, most recently Danish ELLE and Gastro. She has been responsible for the development of campaigns and visual identities and concepts for, among others, Marimekko, Iittala and Fritz Hansen and has designed books for Phaidon.
With a passion for visual storytelling and currents of time, Laura founded Oak Publishing, which for a number of years published the biannual bookazine Oak - The Nordic Journal internationally. Oak was a platform (an Instagram profile with 35,000 followers) that conveyed Scandinavian culture through portraits, films, events, podcasts and partnerships. Laura also founded and published Stella Magazine, which was a modern take on a cultural magazine aimed at women.
In addition to her passion for art, culture and design, Laura greatly appreciates culinary experiences and books wrapped in beautiful covers. While her enthusiasm for food and taste is deeply intertwined with her many travel experiences, her love of books and magazines already shone through when, as a child, she spent her time creating collages and books from scraps and was typing away on a typewriter.
